چکیده
The present study deals with the analyses of direct reduction kinetics during hydrogen industrial iron oxide pellets. Various types pellets different percentage total content and metal oxides are examined. They reduced at temperatures pressure (700–1100 °C 1–6 bar) in atmosphere. behavior is described terms time to reduction, rate constant. All obtained results analyzed through employment a commercial multiobjective optimization tool precisely define weight that each single parameter has on behavior. It shown from point view processing conditions, temperature main factor influencing reduction. From properties, it mainly influenced by then porosity basicity index. Also, largely even if governed pores size also percentage, gas pressure, index, porosity.

Microwaves Applied to Carbothermic Reduction of Iron Ore Pellets
Results of reducibility tests of reduction conducted on iron ore pellets with carbon are presented in this work. Work done is centered on reduction kinetics using carbon as reducing agent with conventional heat supply (heat transfer process) compared with reduction kinetics where heat is supplied by microwaves to the whole volume. Ore used in this work is called "Alzada" which has reducibility ...
متن کاملThe effective parameters on thermal recovery and reduction of iron oxides in EAF slag
Steelmaking slag of Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) has a high iron content which makes it unsuitable for conventional slag recovery; as in cement industries. On the other hand, EAF slag in this company is almost free of zinc because of using more than 90 percent DRI in the charge. Therefore, removal or recovery of iron from the slag can be a suitable solution to slag recovery in this company. In...

A series of copper oxide (CuOx) catalysts supported by oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (OMWNT’s) were prepared by the wet impregnation method for the low temperature (200 °C) selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) using NH3 as a reductant agent in the presence of excess oxygen. These catalysts were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM-EDS, and H2-TPR meth...
متن کاملKinetics of Reduction of Iron Oxides and Ores by Carbon
ITIHEORETICAL considerations and experimental findings point out that reduction of iron oxides and I ores by carbon proceed via the gas' phase, whenever the latter is present. The overall reaction is a coupling of the following two component reactions, viz., Gasification of carbon C(S) CO2 (g) = 2C0 (g) and Reduction of iron oxide mFe.0y(S) -fCO (g) = nFezOw [S) CO2 (g) ' Recent kinetic studies...
متن کاملModeling of Combustion and Carbon Oxides Formation in Direct Injection Diesel Engine
When looking at the effects of diesel engine exhaust on the environment, it is important to first look at the composition of the exhaust gases. Over 99.5% of the exhaust gases are a combination of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water. With the exception of carbon dioxide, which contributes about 5% of the total volume, the diesel engine exhaust consists of elements which are part of...
